Wear Pants

Last week, my leadership coach sent me this true story about Scotty Sheffler.

In the press conference after the British Open victory, Scotty shared that playing and winning on the PGA tour has always been what’s driven him from the time he was 8 years old.

So much so that when he watched the pros on TV he saw that they always wore pants.

So, from 8 years old on - while living in the heat and humidity of Texas - Scotty wore pants.

Always.

Never shorts.

This commitment trained him in two ways:

  1. He trained himself to look like his “end game”.

  2. He endured the discomfort of wearing pants in the Texas summers!

Think this: 🧠

Take FULL responsibility for the results you are experiencing!

  • Spiritual results.

  • Physical results.

  • Leadership results.

  • Marriage results.

  • Parenting results.

  • Relationship results.

Your commitments (wear pants) produce results (win majors).

Believe this: ❤️

There is no such thing as someone who isn’t committed. The question is, what commitments am I making, and am I happy with the results those commitments are producing in my life?

You are not a victim. Make better commitments… and put on some pants. 😎
